DIMITRICHRIS, Joeffer Caoc, NADA Showcase of Canada’s top design talent; NADA, Joeffer Caoc and DIMITRICHRIS will present their creative visions through both a runway show of their Spring/Summer 2011 collections and an original short film that will serve as an insight and introduction to their design aesthetic. Beyond the fashion, AUDI Canada will also exhibit the latest additions in their lineup of luxury vehicles; the R8 Spyder, S5 Convertible and the TTS Roadster. AUDI Canada under the direction of CEO Martin Sander has shown continued support of the Canadian Fashion community through targeted sponsorship and events. THE ART OF PROGRESSION will deliver a night celebrating Canadian design, depiction, and drive; attributes that are all shared and embodied by AUDI.
Nada Shepherd delivers a new woman for 2011 Spring/Summer NADA collection; confident and feminine she reflects her attitude in her wardrobe of tailored pieces perfectly complemented with raw edges, deconstructed safari elements and sex appeal.
Dimitri Chris Alexiou has long enjoyed success in his native Montreal, this season he brings his eponymous label DIMITRICHRIS to Toronto’s fashion stage with a menswear collection that takes the audience on a journey to Skärgården | The Island Garden with designs that invoke the sophisticated era of the 1930’s with designs that blend comfort with architectural volume and intricate proportions.
Finally veteran designer Joeffer Caoc, returns to the runway with a collection that will celebrate all the label’s expert distinctions – strong feminine details, a modern and forward colour palette and designs perfectly crafted to the female form.
Going beyond the traditional elements of a Fashion presentation, THE ART OF PROGRESSION will also see original short films – three minutes in length introducing the SS 2011 collections as envisioned by each designer. AUDI Canada is proud to spearhead the meeting of two great artistic worlds, fashion and film fuse, for an exciting evening presentation.
